We are delighted to annoBraw Wee Fairunce that the Braw Wee Fair will be taking place on the first Saturday of each month!

In association with The Braw Wee Emporium we will be bringing the best artists, makers and unique products to the Barras Market.

Braw Wee Fair will feature a range of products from Handmade cleaning and beauty products, to prints, jewellery, furniture, music and lots lots more!

Visit the BAaD Cafe for some lovely food and drink!

From Catalonia to Caledonia – 8th August!

Join us at BAaD for a day celebration of Scottish & Catalan culture, dance, music & food!

Catalonia to Caledonia
Catalan music will be represented by Pep Sala, former member of the world-renowned SAU! We will also be hosting traditional Scottish and Catalan dancers – Flor de Fajol.

The Vintage Apollos will be playing too!

Additionally, there’ll be a reading of ‘From Calton to Catalonia’ play and screening of a documentary on Catalan human towers!

Barras Art and Design (BAaD) is a venue, a studio, a retail space and a creative hub – bringing an eclectic mix of creative talents under one roof. It is a unique building in Glasgow with a spectacular covered courtyard with glazed roof supported on pink steel arches that fits a variety of requirements.

Glasgow Youth Film Festival Closing Gala – 8th February

GYFF Youth Team and Pop-Up programmers will take over BAAD for their closing event.

To Celebrate 2015 being Glasgow’s Green Year, they are turning the space into a fantasy wilderness for special themed pop-up screenings of culd favourites Jumanji (17.15) and Labyrinth (20.00)

There’ll be a party atmosphere, live music, dress up and fair-trade food to close out the weekend.
