Get ready for a bawdy, glamorous, one-night-only celebration of Wax Fruit and Victorian Glasgow at BAaD on Sunday 21st September. Doors Open 6 for 6.30pm kick off and the show ends at 10pm.
Celebrate the republication of Guy McCrone’s classic Wax Fruit Trilogy and the in-development TV adaptation with a one-night-only Victorian-themed variety show at Glasgow’s award-winning BAaD.
Following a surge of public and media interest in the TV series which is in development to be commissioned and set to star Martin Compston, Ashley Jensen, Kenny Doughty, Bill Paterson, Shirley Henderson, and more—Executive Producer Sarah Purser presents an evening of bawdy, heart-warming, sentimental, and top-class music hall entertainment inspired by Victorian Glasgow and the Wax Fruit world.
Expect an all-star cast including Jamie MacDougall, Elaine C. Smith, Frankie Corio, Ashley Jensen, Kathleen McDermott & more live music hall entertainment.
